Challenge
So.Co got in touch with Oddbee looking to improve the MVP of their platform. The company was on a mission to create a platform they could confidently take to its audience and that would resonate with stakeholders, photographers, and music fans. So.Co was ambitious about its idea; they needed a product that would look fresh and was well-thought-out to ensure a seamless user experience. They were ready to take their platform to new heights.
Process
At Oddbee, we helped So.Co create a platform that would help them connect with their target audience - music fans that value authenticity above everything else. This platform allowed music fans to be able to upload pictures and share visual stories. We also included features such as a personalized newsfeed and image-based storytelling to create a curated image-focused platform that offers a dynamic mobile-first experience.
Results
The new platform design allows So.Co to cement itself as an innovative company that has successfully opened up a new category. The enhanced user experience and design achieved its ultimate goal: helping So.Co present a groundbreaking platform to its user base and potential stakeholders and facilitate a hub for its growing community. All in all, we have successfully transformed the site’s design from a photo-sharing site to a broader media platform that tells captivating stories through imagery.

There are many ways to explore content on So.co. Fans can enjoy curated photos from highly acclaimed photographers or follow musicians and hashtags to see photos, stories and behind the scenes footage from their favourite artists and bands in their personalized feed.
